Shenzhen School Affiliated with Northeast Normal University (Senior High School No. 18)
第十八高级中学(东北师范大学附属中学深圳学校)
The campus entrance of this project is aligned with the semicircular pond in front of the ancestral temple, creating an urban-scale public space imbued with cultural memory. The entire academic zone is organized modularly, building upon traditional classroom units while incorporating abundant flexible spaces to allow ample room for future expansion and pedagogical evolution.
Given the site’s limited depth in the north–south direction, the sports field is oriented east–west. Dormitories are positioned at the northwest corner, while standard classrooms extend along the southern edge of the site. This arrangement generates a pendulum-like, elongated circulation route that links a series of public activity spaces throughout the campus, forming a vibrant “campus street.” This dynamic spatial sequence enriches the 5-day-a-week, 24-hour boarding school experience for high school students with diverse atmospheres and unexpected moments.
