Tanghua Architect & Associates Won the First Prize for the Design Competition of Shenzhen Dongchang Primary School and the Third Prize for the Design Competition of Shenzhen Guiyuan Middle School

Luohu District is the oldest urban area of Shenzhen, with most of the schools in the district built around the 1990s. As the city develops and the population increases, the old facilities, security risks, and undersupplied area of the schools are far from satisfaction. Shenzhen Luohu District Government and Shenzhen Center for Design launched the “Design for the Tomorrow – Open Call of Luohu District for Campus Design Concept” to solicit campus design concepts and explore ways to innovate and upgrade the architectural spaces and environment of new schools within an intensive land use context.

Participated in the design competition of all three schools, Tanghua Architect & Associates won the first prize for the design of Shenzhen Dongchang Primary School and the third prize for the deign of Shenzhen Guiyuan Middle School.
